Science and silliness...
Below is a photo of an ampule, a nasal spray to cure shyness. The headline reads: "Oxytocin--the love hormone--could cure shyness."
Article reads: "Scientists have discovered that the hormone oxytocin could help wallflowers overcome awkwardness in social situations. The chemical dubbed 'the hormone of love' is known to increase empathy and bonding--especially parents and their children."
My evaluation of this silly science: As far as relationships between men and women, I thought there was a drug in liquid form...called "Jack Daniels" and in pill form..."Ecstasy"...I digress. However, what's truly disturbing about this silliness, is the part where this drug is supposed to "increase empathy and bonding between parents and their children." This is like giving them your credit cards and saying go shopping at the mall, just don't bother me by requesting my imparting real love through our bonding with spiritual time and sincere truth...which should begin before birth and continue non-stop until death...and sometimes beyond.
T-Parties are born when politicians fail to listen
Back in 1986, IBM and I settled out of Federal Court, but prior to this settlement, I ran an ad in the Roanoke Times 1/27/1985, featuring my business in computerization, as seen in the lower left corner of the display presentation below. I even went so far as to send information to Governor Chuck Robb, at the time, as to what my business could do for all of those states that may have been manipulated by IBM's preventative maintenance program. The Governor's response was no different than when this subject was broached in other states, such as Alabama, of which two particular entities were knowingly affected by this maintenance program.
This story featured by the Washington Post, showed what may have occurred when the state of Virginia via Robb's office failed to listen to an informed assessment of a potential high-tech dilemma, and thus I don't know if Robb and the state ever got this CIT off the ground. I do know that the entities in Alabama took advantage of the information I offered, and may have been compensated to keep quiet about IBM's business processes, as it may have been applied untold times thoughout the US with other businesses, including local, state, and Federal governments.
Lesson learned? Certain outcomes await those, who overlook or dismiss an otherwise thought to be unintelligent constituency that wakes up and reacts...my business has since gone on to become successful...Robb eventually met political demise. http://infobuck.com
Driving into the future...
My business allows me the benefit of traveling the roadways of America. The photo below shows the Blue Ridge Parkway in the midst of the change of seasons...a refreshing front seat view of not only the road but as I see my future...increasingly bright...thanks to some smart economic planning. I don't intend to retire, just hopefully die while enjoying my business enterprise serving the healthcare needs of those benefitting by it, both consultants and customers.
This is my personal greeting card to you...I'm aware that not everyone can or will be as fortunate; but it's never too late to strive and thrive. So take care of yourself and maintain good health for as long as you are able, because the future is ever more interesting. It represents the beginning. http://infobuck.com
