Liquor Stores, et al...

The native black American communities across this country have been the slowest, dumbest, and yet the most resilient when it comes to survival despite the multiple self-imposed obstacles. This is not an observation that I take lightly, for I am from this community born and raised, so I know what the hell I'm talking about...in light of such limited progress made by the community when compared to other ethnic groups from Africa, Asia, the Mid-East, Europe, and the Caribbean Islands...so what is it? Well, let's bring it home in the only way I know to get an impact.

Let's look at the trend and foundation of most black communities across America, and you will see that the major business operations in the community I grew up in were in alphabetical order...barber/beauty shops, churches, funeral homes, liquor stores, and numbers running.

My earliest memory in growing up is in a black hamlet in Mobile, AL that was called "down-the-bay" on Texas Street, living in my great grandmother's house until I was seven years old, where I ran numbers for this pimp, who drove a black Cadillac, and was called "Eldorado". He would come in about 4:00pm driving up the connecting street called Dunham St.  I would run up to the car and he would hand me about a half-dozen of what were called "lottery slips" and my being "fleet of foot" would deliver them to the back doors of the awaiting gamblers. I received "a buck" for my work. I did this three times a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Eldorado complimented me on my ability to deliver by saying "ya know, you're one fast nigger." 

I tried to branch out, by bringing a cousin into the "numbers runnning" business. She turned out to be timid, and freightened, for if she saw a police car a block away, she would take off running and be almost near the Mississippi state line before I could catch her. Anyway, my grandparents on my father's side adopted me, and ended a future in "crime." That's why I know parents have to get a handle on a kid's life fresh out of the cradle to get them on the right track..ASAP!

Most of these businesses I have mentioned don't or can't do that, thus the black communities wind up with non-productivity resulting from crime as its primary enterprise. Hopefully, my business in health care technology can make a change in the trend.  

Liberty vs Tax Scofflaws

The debt ceiling controversy is here and politicos are sizing up their positions in reference to cuts to entitlements, closing corporate tax loopholes, and getting those who can afford their medicare and medicaid to pay for it, along with those who are wealthy to pay a more fair share of taxes...of which the right wingers are crying "foul."

Before this whining begins in earnest, I suggest those who will be affected by these cuts, consider what contribution they are willing to make toward lessening our burden of debt. For those who are wealthier than most, you won't be able to take it to the grave; therefore, I suggest you "google Corporate Tax Scofflaws" to catch these thieves of liberty.

Republican Party sides with the "rich scofflaws"

It appears the Republican Party led by Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, and McConnell have made it clear from the outset that they favor the rich getting richer at the expense of middle class America.

If this is not the case, that the Republicans are no more than "Limbaugh's waterboys," I hope someone would prove to the contrary.  Otherwise, I don't see American patriots standing on the sideline during this continued pillaging and financial rape of our lady, "Liberty."

Now, is the time for the ninety-nine percent of good Americans to come to the aid of the President in his economic defense of "our lady liberty" against subjugation by the continued greed of these "callously rich scofflaws."

Rev. Nutscutter...Still "screwing" up after all these years

Well, it appears that Nutscutter has screwed up big time...being sued for homphobic attitude toward one of his employees...not quite "Eddie Longstyle" but, he was using the young man to clean up after his adulterous trysts while pretending to save "the soul of Black America." Therefore, Rev. Nutscutter deserves a big "Nigger, Please"!!

P.S.  The young man happens to be a regular contributor to the "Tom Joyner Morning Show" and it will be interesting to see how "Brother Pumpkinhead" handles the crux of this matter...boom-shaka-laka.
