"Blubber Butt"...Boffo or Bust (no pun)
Rush Limbaugh's depth range extends no deeper than his spinning exerpts from the "Drudge Report" meaning he's has no insight beyond this right wing comic strip. I am willing to say that his listening audience begins to decline after 4-5 days of his supposedly cutting edge drivel to the extent, that they have to bring in fresh voices such as Mark David(who's salivating for the post) to revive interest. I have yet to figure out who in the hell thought of paying Blubber Butt that big roll of dough for this "lake front property found in Arizona"...go figure.
His influence has waned to the point, that he hasn't impacted the scatter brained ditto heads with any meaningful direction (which is why he won't get into the muck and mire of the T-baggers up close and in person by allowing the right wingers to speak on his show)...not since he convinced former President George II to refer to the murderous criminals from the East as "Islamo-Fascists"...indeed a "brainy" analogy. Of course, George II, although an honorable man, could easily be swayed by right wingers, beginning with "pace-maker Puck"...the vice-presidential imp.
Mr. President, stop with the excuses already...
Today, 10-8-10, President Obama comes to the mike with an ongoing somber story about the employment situation in America, more excuses when the nation wants results, as typified in a letter I submitted to Madam Secretary Hilda Solis, of which I am sure someone in your administration has read. Let's see if my suggested solution will get some results with my proactive approach to this high unemployment dilemma.
You, Mr. President, and the nation are in an economic dilemma, where you must begin to budget cut as opposed to applying more taxpayers' stimuli to keep the ship afloat. Sometimes, it's necessary to throw cargo overboard, when in turbulence, to maintain buoyancy. Here's an example the state of Georgia applied to its education system, something all states should consider for a better return on productivity resulting from these institutions.
From The Atlanta Journal-Constitution 10-8-10:
"In what has become a trend for the Technical College System of Georgia, two more of the system's campuses will merge...Over the past two years, the system has merged 13 of its colleges into six. The system operated 33 campuses before the mergers took place."

Sunday Morning Pacing
I just finished watching the movie "La Mission" starring Benjamin Bratt available via "Netflix". The plot shows the conflict of a man, a reformed, tough, barrio street hoodlum having to deal with the discovery of his son being a homosexual...one hell of a story for any man who may discover the same about one of his sons...how would you handle it? An excellent movie in plot, background, and message...a must see.
Anyway, the movie opens with background music by the legendary Curtis Mayfield, a renowned songster and writer of music conveying the life from and about the "hoods". The song is "Kung Fu" from the album "Sweet Exorcist" and can be found on "You Tube". Mayfield can be called an "original rapper" with a musical artform about the ghetto and barrio before it was turned into just unskilled "epithetical crap" by the "wannabes" who can't artistically describe, but only denounce those that we should care about the most...our children, of both sexes...and you know of what I speak.
Nat King Cole said "rock and roll" would never be for him as Ray Charles said the same about "rap" and listening to some of the "schlock" coming off of young people's sound systems, I can appreciate the sentiments of both....rest in peace Nat, Ray, Curtis.
Communism vs Capitalism...very little difference
I looked at a National Geographic film showing some scenes of life in North Korea, and I compared that to films about Nazi Germany. North Korea is supposedly the epitome of an atheist, communist society; whereas, Nazi Germany presented itself to the world as the epitome of a Christian capitalist society, backed by churches/religious authorities. What I found interesting about these supposedly diametrically opposed societies, was that both had in common...concentration camps and institutionalized slavery for dissidents of their nations.
Those who were carted off to these camps became no more than an animal work force until death...with only a few benefitting from this forced rulership. The same thing seems to be taking place in countries ruled by people of their own race such as Zimbabwe. People of the same "race" find it more morally acceptable in the eyes of the world to suppress their own kind. It seems to only be reprehensible if another race is doing it to those outside of its kind. It's obvious that it's not always the devil from without, but the devil within who can be the greater evil.
The Nazis went to the very extreme of inhuman cruelty, by actually making use of the ashes of the exterminated to pave roads...getting every agonizing ounce of profit to be gained from this nationally powered capitalism.
This sort of capitalism was applied in the United States with the introduction of slavery, but somewhat mollified by Christian beliefs...a capitalism (mercantile) system nevertheless. "True freedom" and "free enterprise" were limited to a very few, until democracy caused it to be more widespread with the election of commoners such as Abraham Lincoln...and Andrew Jackson before him, who went on to savage the Native Americans while condoning the institution of slavery.
A commoner's ability to achieve was one of the goals of such individuals as Thomas Jefferson, in freeing the nation from British aristocracy, despite his (Jefferson) personal desire to remain a slaveowner until his death. Seems there are no clean hands in the building of this nation; however, we have to play the hand we've been dealt...for the sake of what is the only home, we as a nation of bastards have.
I, therefore, suggest not falling for the hype of these ideologies from the right or left...for they both are more about the "few" being able to prey upon/enslave the many...even if it means concentration camps and slavery from cradle to grave...if necessary. It is only this resolve that tells me this universe has a power greater than the outlook of the puny minds of mankind and their religiosities, atheist or otherwise...that assists us bastards in trying to do what's humanly right and just on this planet.
