The "HNIC" Syndrome

For those of you not familiar with the expression, let's see if I can bring it home. I'll start with a scene from the movie opening of "Gone With the Wind" where one slave abruptly says "It's quittin' time" upon which he was accosted by another slave, presumably the straw boss, who said "I'll say when it's quittin' time" and within two breaths said "It's quittin' time." If you didn't get the analogy, HNIC means "Head Nigger In Charge" and that's been the problem in the black community during and since slavery in America.

Let's go a little bit farther, when Booker T. Washington had devised an economic plan for progress for slaves recently freed, and of all places in Alabama, so-called civil rights' leaders namely W.E.B. Dubois and Monroe Trotter were vehemently opposed to his methods, but could not deliver anything comparable in terms of establishing a sought after plan of self-sufficiency...as shown by today's standards. You see, the term "HNIC" was a moniker given by "massa" as well as other titles from colored to Negro...so on and so forth.

Since the death of Booker T. Washington, there has only been one man who put his "all" on the line for the sake of "Black Americans" and of course that was Martin Luther King, Jr...who stared death in the face and said "I'm not fearing any man"! Since his death the "HNIC" Syndrome arose again with so-called civil rights' leaders, namely Jesse Jackson, Sr. aka Rev. Nutscutter and Al Sharpton aka Al B. Conked, who both over the many years, have only lined their pockets with the fate of desperate Black Americans.

Nevertheless, the "HNIC" Syndrome has struck in local regions, with self-aggrandizing preachers, politicians, and otherwise ripoffs drawn to the lust for power, only to be destroyed and dashing the hopes of those foolish enough to follow their lead. Again, the plea of "forgive them for they know not what they do" carries absolutely no merit in this day and time, when a people have been given maximim consideration to get their act together.  http://theroanoketribune.com/catalog_1.html

Going Down Swinging

November 2, 2010 will represent a day that will add insult to the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., if blacks do not go to the polls en masse. There shouldn't have to be any encouragement by politicians and/or so-called civil rights' leaders, for you, as Black Americans, should know and revere Dr. King's legacy more than anyone else on the face of the earth.

If you fail to show up and vote this election, you better be prepared to go down swinging, for no amount of praying, singing "We shall overcome", or invocations by jackleg preachers will redeem you from pending destruction. 

Jericho...not just a prophecy

Just as Joshua surrounded the walls of the city, and with a shout the walls came tumbling down, you, Black America, are that Joshua. Your vote en masse November 2, 2010 will represent that hue and cry that will see the walls of racial intolerance and corrupt entitlement come to a permanent end. The remains of this "humbling into the dust" can then be recycled into a fairer, stronger, and more just society unlike the world has never known before...upright before man and God.

If, however, you choose not to carry out your noble destiny, your fate will be sealed for you to become re-enslaved as were your forefathers, by that "old, wicked, idol-worshipping society" similarly to the Hebrews in Egypt, building monuments to their slavers from pits of mud, losing generations before there was a "Deliverer".

This, you see, is not a prophecy, but an analytical empiricism.

Politics...a down and dirty business

With all the name calling, like never before this year, I guess it's only fair to attempt to decipher from whence it comes, and I determined that it began with the right wing "godfather" of talk jocks...Rush Limbaugh.

Historically, those who run for political office have to do so with the hide of a water buffalo, but it's the cowards that won't run for office but skew those who do run with the presumption they are the kingmakers, from the safety of their hideouts...Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin.

Halloween is typically the time for "ghosts and goblins" for the kids on the block, but I thought it particularly cruel to castigate the young lady running for the Senate as simply a "witch" without looking at her overall capability to hold an office representing Delaware...but, you have to thank your right wing promoters for this sort of garbage...Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, and Sean Hannity for their political name calling, including their over-the-top verbal assassination of the President.

I don't want to stoop to the level of these "hollow-headed juggernauts" but with Rush Limbaugh saying his talent is on loan from "God", I believe it's only fair to say that his "hollow weenie" is likewise a divine gift... for one demon seed is enough.

Political Failure from Left and Right

As stated, it's time to move on with a more "cohesive" political makeup in both the House and Senate. Black America failed to vote en masse and consequently can expect less economic support for their "special interests" in multiple fields, meaning people will see increased poverty resulting from unfunded entitlement programs. Likewise, the conservative right failed to see a sweep of major political office holders, meaning compromise is in order, if any progress is made economically, because of necessary budget cuts that will effect Republican districts as well as those of the Democrats.

Long story short, monetary medicine can be expected at everyone's door, bringing a "spending agenda" to an abrupt halt;  i.e., no extended unemployment benefits, no increased subsidies for current Social Security recipients, Food Stamps limited, many federally subsidized higher educational institutions will have funds deleted to the point of forced consolidation or outright closing, no more bail-outs for corporations; oh yes, a possible return of the "Draft"...in other words, we will see who the true patriots are.

What does Obama owe Black America??

Absolutely nothing!! For far too long Black America has been looking for someone to do for it what it should have learned to do for itself. There is no other ethnic group in America looking for someone to save them from their destiny...comparable to the number of civil rights' organizations Black America has been relying on.

Great and giving people have sacrificed their lives and fortunes for Black America to take control of its destiny...that seems to be fooled, bamboozled, and side tracked by its own selfish desires. Now, it's time to pay the piper, and the collector is on the way as generated by this past election.

Again, Black America has been duly warned too many times and maybe this soon-to-be-felt economic backlash with these recent elections will bear that out. There was no shout and consequently, wailing is assured.

Christianity... 2nd class citizenship for all non Europeans? 

I ask that any scholar or religionist deduce otherwise and present that deduction for worldwide discussion via infobuck@cox.net.

Radio Talk...How Goebbels Got Started

You may better understand this topic after viewing the film "Genocide" narrated by Orson Welles and Elizabeth Taylor...available via "Netflix".

Won't be a "carnival cruise"...

For those of you who may have viewed the film "Genocide" you witnessed how "nationalism" can devastate a race of people based on the politics of "conservatism"...advocated by right wing talk show hosts including Jews such as Mark Levin, Mark Stein, Neil Boortz, and Michael Savage.

What was so inhumane about the devastation was that most nations wanted to offer no sanctuary to these victims, even though the nefarious regime gave them the opportunity to flee the "final solution"...  even denied by their own American ethnicity, and thus returned to their death and destruction.

So, I offer this thought to Tom Joyner with his upcoming "Fantastic Voyage", where would a ship of so-called Negroes, who refuse to take control of their destiny, be accepted, if and a good possibility when such right wingers are able to take command of America? Any suggestions? Life cannot be one "continuous party" without a hangover...and I'm talking serious consequences for a failure to take responsibility in simple voluntary activities such as "voting".

The Right-Wing Conservatives' Approach

Get health care coverage on your own. Can't get it? Tough! You're probably just another welfare-chiseling minority and deserve your stake in this capitalists' society.

Got cancer from smoking...it's your own damn fault...you idiot! Get an appointment with a gravedigger.

Can't find a job to support your family?  Go out and offer to pick crops on somebody's farm as a trade off.

Won't have to worry about scans at the airport because only people from overseas will be able to afford flying...exploding planes in the sky...no problem.

Liberty or death?  You got it!
