Most people are not stupid...just ignorant

I include myself in this pack until I smarten up and learn to do better...it begins with self. I listen occasionally to the right-wing talk show hosts that condemn our President to racially motivated rants about welfare recipients to illegals. What these "verbal bomb throwers" all have in common is that they can cite the problems "as they see them" but never can present rational solutions.

I won't go through the list of "air heads" provoking not only the stupid but the ignorant, with my most proactive condemnation being Laura Schlessinger,  a "covert racist hack." She's no longer on the air, come the end of 2010...I guess due to a lack of sponsors wishing to appeal to the stupid and ignorant...and, this can be said of "Blubber Butt" and a few more of his ilk.

However, countering this sort of "radio rhetoric" are some very informative talk show hosts that provide solutions to the yes, you guessed it, the stupid and ignorant...one being Dave Ramsey on financial and business advice. In the October, 2010 edition of the "Home Business" magazine he offers these tips...see if they help...I'll synopsize:

1. The reason for going into business? To make money.

2. Common mistake in going into business? Not doing your homework.

3. How to grow a business? Effective promotion.

4. How to make money when you don't have any? Reinvest a percentage of your earnings.

5. Biggest ways to waste money? Buying what you don't need.

6. How to advertise effectively? Start small and inexpensively.

7. Key to business success? Treat people like you want to be treated.

The Vatican seeks more "Exorcists"...what a farce

The Vatican recently made public its effort to find more priests to become "certified exorcists". For those of you who don't know, Catholic "exorcisms" are similar in nature to Puritan "witch trials" and are about as useless and hypocritical as pagan rituals, that are forerunners of this mythological poppycock.

It is through religiosity and its control through fear of the unknown, as well as the known, such as "corruption" in government, that these rituals are applied to silence those that might reveal the "real sins" of the organization...going back to the great minds such as Galileo, who presented scientific evidence disproving the "flat earth hypothesis"...a big no, no for the Vatican.

If the Vatican wanted to do a "real exorcism" it should start within its own organization, by finding and prosecuting every sexual predator both living and dead, and compensate as much as possible the victims and their relatives due to the acts of perversion by these "religious demons" within its faith; even if it means humbling the Catholic Church into the dust via financial bankruptcy by having to sell off all of its assets from its properties to its jewel encrusted chalices, down to the Pope's golden slippers. Of course, money could never completely redeem that portion of the souls of the unsuspecting, through this "religious robbery and rape" but, it's a start, as well as an example of a true judgement. 

Futile Functionaries

What was revealed in the recently held mid-term elections this November was a gradual end to the role of white, right-wing, old world talk show hosts and that of the black, left-wing, old guard civil rights' leaders and their dueling extremist influences on the destiny of a strong middle-of-the-road democracy. Truth be told, these "extremists" are the only ones personally profiting from their seemingly never-ending discord.  This discord is why all civilizations of the past failed...extremism, either too far right or too far left.

America is at a critical apex, you might say, a tipping point of being properly positioned as the world's foremost freedom-based democracy in a global alliance of earthly progress, or possibly torn under by the voices of right wing conservatism or left wing liberalism...both of which are cups of poisonous perils...and like forbidden fruit, America would be wise to partake of neither.

Right Wing Radio Talk Show Sponsors...

I have been critical of right wing talk show hosts such as Rush Limbaugh since I first heard this poisonous con-artist spew his venom, while he's claiming he's carrying out some sort of "moral obligation" for the good of America, and like the rest of his ilk...he's in the business for whomever floats the biggest stench of money their way, as shown by one of his sponsors..."Lifelock".

"Lifelock" is an identity theft prevention company that because of misrepresentation has been saddled with a $12 million settlement averaging $10.00 to each "sucker" oops! "customer" that bought into it. Unfortunately, Tom Joyner, your hands aren't altogether clean either because lately you've been promoting "Lifelock" to "Black America".

Black Farmers and Indians(Native Americans) could get $4.6 billion in reparations...it's about time that justice is served...apart from the boondoggle of reparations for ancestral slavery.

A Taxpayer's Suggestion...

Take an across the board 25% reduction in pay starting with the President, the Congress, and every Federal worker down to GS 1.  Lead by example and allow that to become extended unemployment benefits for those who just can't find work, although there's plenty of opportunity out there beginning with my business http://infobuck.com
