The Downside of Being an Employee
In my case, it was the routine that wore me out, and knowing that I had to dedicate eight hours a day to continue to do it. Very few of us are fortunate enough to land a vocation that fulfills us daily, inspires us to expand our horizons, commands a greater share of financial gain, a stress-relieving process, restful nights after we have actually accomplished our goals as planned, and preparing for new achievements.
This is not the role of an employee but it's the life of successful entrepreneurs...somebody you may know. How to become a successful entrepreneur? Like anything else in life, you start as a student willing to learn by example and education.
My business INFOBUCK.COM http://infobuck.com does exactly that online at no charge...we need people that seek what's described in paragraph one...you take the next step and command of your destiny.
Scuttlebutt on "Blubber Butt"
Information, although not confirmed, has it that Rush Limbaugh is desirous of becoming America's next Oprah Winfrey on radio, being that he's gradually losing market share due to a one note monologue...bash Obama. Also, the fact that he's delivered some phony baloney promotions such as Zicam and Lifelock is causing other more reputable sponsors not to want to bed down with this all but right wing verbal bomb thrower.
More and more of his minions are gradually trying to put space between themselves and him as the large and in charge radio icon, especially with his mimicking the jargon of Mark Levin, such as "statists" while trying to subtly claim he got the T-Bags roiling against the Obama Administration.
It's felt that the TSA straw that humped the camel's back was a right wing caller wanting to "take up arms" at his behest to incite "government overthrow"...of which he didn't bother to discourage...could be some financial blowback, if just so much as one lame brain listener sets off a firecracker near DC with the slightest implication that it resulted from his on-air rhetoric.
He attempted to escape into another line of work via the purchase of a professional football team, but civil and more intelligent business people would have none of "his pukeness" infecting their business paradigm...so, where to?
Consequently, he's attempting a gradual change in persona to become more marketable and viable before that "fat contract" runs out or is abruptly halted with less than favorable notice.
North Korea...a boil on China's butt
China is in a difficult position with this regime lead by sociopaths, that have indoctrinated its populous with decades of fear and the need to survive incidents that occurred years ago by foreign agressors. For if that boil is lanced, it could spread a refugee influx into its (China's) borders that will incur domestic hostilities beyond its ability to control for years if not decades.
North Korea is at a terminal point in its existence; whereby, it has all but exhausted its domestic resources, while maintaining the strength of the military and other brainwashed government support factions; whereas, the remaining population is either enslaved in death camps, or made to fend for themselves in the hinterlands creating no disturbance to the ruling regime.
If there was ever a time for interjection by China it's now, by means of a more open border free enterprise exchange with its afflicted neighbor and North Korea by increasing diplomacy with its sister nation in the South to heal old wounds that continue to fester. America needs to disengage and bring all of its "in country" troops back home during this process, with the void being filled by our sea-going forces, which has the capability of fending off the North if they should make the mistake of incurring such wrath.
However, there should not be a unilateral approach to this issue, but should have the full backing of China, Russia, as well as the UN, just in case the sociopaths don't believe their nation could be turned into a mud hole in a day's time.
"Whistleblowing"...not altogether a bad thing
There is national and international frustration over the "wikileaks" assault exposing "true feelings" about our enemies and allies...such as Arab nations, either so corrupt or scared of losing their precious authority, that it wants the US to do its dirty work in taking out Iran's nuclear capability vis-a-vis Israel, if necessary. What this exposure will do is clear out the cob webs in both the attic and closet of our relationships...kind of like speaking "truth to power". It is almost similar to the release of the "Pentagon Papers" by Daniel Ellsberg in showing the ultimate futility in the Viet Nam conflict, urging Nixon to bring it to a halt, and to go on to establish a relationship with what would become a global dynamic in the world's destiny...China.
Last night I watched "Ken Burns' America: Huey Long" available via "Netflix". I have to keep singing the praise of "Netflix" for it's become a virtual "Library of History" for those of us who have matured beyond the generic tittilation of cable TV. Huey Long was the former Governor and Senator of Louisiana, that was assassinated prior to his almost becoming the President of the United States. He was so challenging to current President Franklin D. Roosevelt, almost a pain in the "you know what" that the President adopted some of his Louisiana precepts in putting together the New Deal. Long was known to excoriate the top one percent in unfairly controlling the wealth of the nation to the point that it kept America depressed. He was anti-Republican as well as anti-Democrat, but pro people with programs such as "share the wealth." He did not ascribe to race baiting because as it's described he helped all the poor in his state (not necessarily legally or ethical), "poor whites, poor cajuns, and poor coloreds" alike. He was the "father of wealth distribution in America" that eventually saw the enactment of Social Security, the Conservation Corps, early Food Stamp programs; and very much unlike the T-Bags claiming to want to "overthrow the government" or take it back as it was...by initiating their movement on racism. The T-bags in essence said we "honkies" want to take back the government that the "niggers" in office control and give it back to us "honkies" that got us into this mess with a few "kikes" on the side. (Sorry, had to bring it home).
My bout with whistleblowin' came with my old nemesis...yes, you guessed it..."Big Blue" in my reporting to Senator Charles Grassley, Republican from Iowa under the "qui tam statutes" about white collar crime in the way IBM was handling computer contracts at a time when it controlled almost 75% of federal contracts. I guess the Republicans later buoyed by some Democrats felt "Big Blue was too big to fail" or simply a bunch white collar criminals that eventually got away with selling their access to those federal contracts to LORAL, which then sold high tech classified information to China. Oh, what cobwebs we weave, while attempting to deceive.
Politics as usual...
Headline: "US Senate rejects earmark ban"...November 30, 2010
"The full Senate this morning rejected a three-year ban on earmarks..."
In other words, the "pigs at the trough" are showing what they are made of...empty promises, back pats, nose thumbing, and greased palms. I suggest sacking each "pig" that voted against the measure.
False Economic Philosphies...
Philosophy Number One: Tax Breaks for the Wealthy Create Jobs.
Philosophy Number Two: Unemployment Consumer Spending Creates Jobs.
Philosophy Number One advocated by "conservative" Republicans and Philosophy Number Two advocated by "liberal" Democrats are both off-based in our real economy.
The wealthy receiving tax breaks have not shown in marketable rise in long term employment, for the corporate banks who hold the bulk of that wealth are preventing it from getting to small businesses on main street, the real source of job creation. Extended unemployment benefits to support consumer spending is temporary at best, a fool's ploy at worst for those individuals not really seeking work, only those opportunities that have since faded with the past.
Solution: Hit the top one percent by removing all tax breaks unless it's conclusively shown that they are resulting in real jobs in the states, continue to deny extended unemployment benefits, driving those into a position of seeking employment even if they have to do odd jobs in a city or community to earn that pay. Just like there should be an end to "golden parchutes" in corporations that fail, there should be no reward for those who sit on their behinds idling away time and service to their communities.
