Crime and Religion...A toxic revelation

I start this chapter with an actual event of the fight against illegal drug distribution in the black community in Mobile, AL. When I arrived back in the city as a representative of Mr. Elijah Muhammad's, I took a walking tour of the inner city area, and there was this location called the "Hollywood Hotel" at the block of Lincoln and Davis Avenue, where junkies lined up for their soon to arrive "medicines". I saw a couple of guys that I knew from my high school years, who were hooked...and they cited that all they had to live for was the "lady on the white horse" and her "spike".

Just at that time, a police patrol car circled the block with two white policemen, that just observed the mingling crew of junkies, but did nothing. One of the guys I knew, called them "Adam 12" which meant they knew what was going on, but as long as it was contained in the "niggers' neighborhood", it was business as usual. Shortly after that, a Lincoln sedan pulled up and I assumed that was the doctor there to deliver the "nefarious medicines".

At the next meeting held in the Temple, we discussed what we could do as the Muslim Brotherhood to "save our people." That very night, one of the brother's cars was firebombed, totally destroying it...this war on drugs became a personal affront to the Nation of Islam. We set out to find the culprit, which we didn't find, but later on a former classmate of mine who had since gone on to Tallahasse, FL to the local university and became a lawyer, told me about that particular incident that night as to whom it might have been that did the firebombing...which didn't bother him, because he was too busy getting high. He then told me the guy went to Biloxi, MS where he was killed...by whom?... till this day, I don't know.

This brings me to the film I saw last night about the infamous drug lord in Harlem during the late 60's and 70's called Leroy "Nicky" Barnes, a documentary, entitled "Mr. Untouchable" available via "Netflix". It was very much unlike the movie about Frank Lucas, starring Denzel Washington in which the character of Nicky Barnes was played by Cuba Gooding, Jr.

In the documentary, although there were a half dozen quotes from the book "The Prince" by Niccolo Machiavelli in describing his (Barnes') rise to power, he (Barnes) personally stated that his "council" or brotherhood was based on some passage from the Qu'ran which he used to build that drug empire and destroying a community at the same time, and for a while, white America ignored it as long as it was contained in the "niggers' neighborhoods". This same sort of logic of so-called Islamic radicals or terrorists results from their feeling as though their cause or calling is justified by some "crazy-ass" personal interpretation of the religion of Islam.

What the documentary didn't reveal was, there was a plan to eliminate every drug pusher in Harlem, by the Nation of Islam, but it could not go forth, because it would have given "the devils" a pretext for criminal activity against #7 in their pursuit of conspirators in the death of Malcolm X, even though the Nation was attempting to save the community from this deadly poison. "Adam 12" was at work in Harlem like he was in Mobile. Nicky Barnes was eventually brought to justice by the Carter Administration in his war on drugs.

In the meantime, the drug situation was not getting any better in Mobile, until it got out of control and wound up in seeing some young white kid killed by an overdose obtained from the "niggers' neighborhood"...all of a sudden it became serious.

To "disbar"...

Definition: "to expel from the bar."

In an earlier article I stated in so many words that I thought it was too damn bad that we as blacks in America could not expel these crooks, criminals, charlatans, or otherwise from the Black American Race...thus, the acronym "BAR".

Let's expound a little bit more about that possibility that could by right become a probability. I begin with these observations of a plan by the Nation of Islam to eliminate every known drug dealer in Harlem back in the late sixties/seventies. There was a standing policy in the Nation of Islam that if an individual did not meet the "standards" of moral upright living in civil society, he could be expelled as a "hypocrite" never to return to any temple. However, if the infractions were too severe, they could be "permanently sanctioned".

How would that work in modern America? First we have to acknowledge and accept the fact that the "BAR" has the most unique descendants on the face of the earth by virtue of its suffering, slavery, and death...nobody in his or her right mind can deny that fact. By virtue of this profound uniqueness, the "BAR" has come too far to be taken under by those destructive elements from all facets including politics, religion, and just out right criminal activity. So, what to do?

Yesterday, I read a letter written by a black professor from a very notable university, exclaiming why she's a "rabid Obamamite" and also a proud "T-Bagger".  Not altogether surprising, considering what black people are failing to do, such as simply going to the polls and voting, but "laying in the cut" expecting Obama to give them more of free meal ticket for 2-4 years...of which he somewhat gave that impression...a continual excuse to "stay shiftless."

From the November mid-term election, there is this black Republican Congressman(who received T-Bag support) from South Carolina, I believe from Strom Thurmond's district, who said he would not join or support the Congressional Black Caucus...and I said good for him for his courage...although, I'm a strong supporter of Obama, feeling he's the only American leader that can best navigate us through these ominous waters in foreign relations...just by virtue of his appearance in a globe dominated by "coloreds".

This gesture by this Congressman might be the medicine needed to route out corruption, going along to get along, and the obsolescence exhibited from politicians to preachers. I have said before,  and I repeat, the "BAR" has to find within itself to adhere to good, strong, ethical leadership before it's too late to alter its course...meaning the "BAR" has to be able to "eliminate", "get rid of", "kick to the curb" any and all negative elements enhancing these perils.

Entrepreneurism...the only true road to economic and spiritual freedom

Why? Entrepreneurism is a combination of human will and intelligence buoyed by spiritual enthusiasm.."entheos" of or from God.This is not religious in nature by any stretch of the imagination and here's why.

Yesterday, I had a enjoyable conversation with Mr. William R. Craft, a profoundly intelligent scholar and authority on the life of Booker T. Washington. Booker T. Washington's life and legacy could be summed up in one hyphenated word...self-reliance, in other words, "cast down your bucket where you are."

Booker T. Washington was adamantly opposed by the social benders in the black communities such as William Monroe Trotter and WEB Dubois, an envoy in the founding of the NAACP. The acronym stands for the "National Association for the Advancement of Colored People" which could more accurately be the National Association for the "Acceptance" of Colored People...which we all with common sense know that will never be the case with white America...so stop fooling yourselves.

I refer to Mr. Elijah Muhammad, of whom I had the privilege of witnessing some of his profound truths of wisdom, when asked if he could ever be accepted as a "Christian"? His answer was no. He went on to say that a "Christian" was an individual of white European descent. I will parse "acceptable" even farther, by saying an "acceptable" Christian is not only of white European descent, but specifically Anglo-Saxon descent...which would preclude all mics and scots from the British Isles, all niggers in America and Africa, all wetbacks south of the border, all dagos and gypsies from southern Europe, all pollocks, kikes, hunkies, russkies of eastern Europe descent, all chinks and snake charmers from Asian territories, and of course red natives of America, "fugees" from the West Indies, and "pineapple squeezers" from the islands...let's see...did I leave any non Anglo-Saxon descendants out? If so, count yourself in for all the prayers, crying, and suffering you've endured before this "Christian" god that you've been duped by...let's proceed.

Entrepreneurism emanates from the mind of man and his God, no other individual, for that would mean it's not original. Whereas entrepreneurs create their paths of destiny by overcoming sundry obstacles, others in society simply go along as functionaries in that society either as employees or being taken care of by someone else...might be called "welfare recipients".  During the growth of early American capitalism which eventually spread across the globe to be tagged "imperialism", the subjects were known as indentured servants, slaves, or knaves.

Let's bring this to a more personal level in my deciphering this term for "freedom". When I started my business back in 2006 in Roanoke http://infobuck.com promoting my concepts in preventative healthcare technology, it conflicted somewhat with the major health care provider in the region. Consequently, when I wanted to advertise my business, the major white owned newspaper didn't want to run my ads, for that major health care provider was a major ad buyer with the paper. I also ran into the same obstacles when wanting to advertise with the locally owned black community newspaper, seeing that they did not want to be in conflict with this same health provider. What to do? I established my own online publication where I advertise around the globe http://theroanoketribune.com.

When I wanted to promote my business among US military veterans seeking a means to  make an income by offering training seminars, I was blocked by the local VA outlet in Roanoke and eventually had to get the matter resolved by the Office of Veteran Affairs in DC. When I wanted to promote the importance of preventative healthcare technology by developing a course for Virginia Western Community College, we could not agree on the amount of money for the course offering(they wanted a higher amount) as well as my relinquishing my proprietary control. I am now in the process of negotiating with the VA Workforce Centers in offering my need for more consultants to expand coverage throughout the state. They are stalling as if I might make a difference in this high unemployment figure that they are in business to serve...bureaucrats!!

Nevertheless, you see why entrepreneurism allows you pathways that otherwise the "ordinary" person would never have the knowledge to entertain...and I say "thank God".
