Red-Faced Rants bring out the kooks!!
This is not a slur against Native Americans but an exposure of political hypocrites, who now try to back pedal when incidents such as the shootings in Arizona erupt. You have blood on your hands.
John Boehner's using his "Hell No, You Can't!!" slogan while running to become the current speaker, was a sign. When Sarah Palin's "T-Baggers" used "targets" on the faces of certain office holders, like the "KKK" did with a photo of "MLK" was a sign. When the right wing talk show hosts use innuendo to signal a government overthrow of elected officials is a sign...yet, they continue in this "vein of violence."
The insane or otherwise puppets handicapped by a mental inability to legally justify their rationale, fall prey to these "verbal bomb-throwers" in the only manner their puny little spirits will allow.
Right-wing extremism promoted by talk jocks
"Innuendo" by talk jocks and T-Baggers is the "i.e.d." in today's political environment, and that means Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Michael Savage, and any other "militant conservatives". Now, see if you can find that scintilla of connection with the actions of these otherwise insane idiots; before there are even more serious explosions down the road.
I noticed John Boehner didn't say he would back off of his caustic rhetoric, nor did Sarah Palin chastize or apologize for her followers and the "gunsights" placed over the photos of elected officials. I think this suspect in Arizona will turn out to be one "crazy ass constitutionalist" advocated by the likes of Mark Levin and others.
Blood Radio called to account?
The television talk shows this Sunday nibbled around the edges of what they termed political discourse going beyond the pale in the recent Arizona shootings...you think?? Limbaugh and his other "conservative cohorts" started with a so-called "patriotic agenda" that lent itself to going as far right as legally permissable, because it was more profitable to fan the flames of discontent versus political discourse.
I have heard any number of episodes where they insist on this path because of support by their sponsors and the radio stations featuring these rants, raves, and rumor mongering, to the death and destruction of political office holders that won't bend to their line of thinking. Right wing fear or white folks just wanting to limit all other ethnic groups by submission, will not work and will only provide more blood-spilling incidents like the one in Tucson.
Going beyond that, I believe the General Manager of every radio station across America providing the venue for this "verbal crap" should be called to account for these ideologues. In Roanoke, radio station WFIR AM would do well to have more responsible programs like Dave Ramsey and Doctor Edell in those time slots. There might be more wealth and health in the communities as opposed to blood spattered streets.
Right Wingism/Race Baiting...Cloaking Under Conservatism
The talk jocks came out in droves from Beck, to Limbaugh, to Levin...all claiming that horrible event that took place in Tucson, is somehow an ignition to silence political debate coming from the right...frankly I hope it is, I'm reluctant to say.
Limbaugh and Beck rose to fame by race-baiting, although trying to cloak it with some puppet Negroes standing in the shadows to cover their true motivation be it against blacks, Mexicans crossing the border, or any other minority, but not once have I heard them show any real disdain for right wing extremists such as the Klan, Neo-Nazis, and any number of groups with "patriotic labels" to cover their true intentions.
Sarah Palin sent a message to Glenn Beck today saying how she abhors violence and hate, but allowed it to tread into her rise to the political fore. She has yet to condemn those acts of using "gunsights" that the critically wounded Congresswoman condemned, at least to my knowledge.
The T-Party was built on race baiting, buoyed by anti-black rhetoric because of the President's ethnicity, and have been trying to prove he's not an American since...work of the birthers, either springing out of the T-Party or in support of it. Glenn Beck went so far as to say the President was in so many words anti-white, when his mother and grandparents shared their "white love" for this kid. You see it's damned fools like Beck, Limbaugh, and now Palin who I see as the perpetrators whether they want to accept responsibility or not.
Limbaugh was almost sickening in trying to say, people are blaming him and thus an effort to silence his political participation. What he truly was saying is that incidents such as the one in Tucson, could knock his fat ass out of the high priced contract in continuing to fan the flames of discontent...creating this violence. I believe it's important to be civil, but it's also time to be brutally honest...before matters get worse.
Peace through Personal Censorship
An epiphany!! With all of the chatter going on about the recent tragedy in Tucson, coming from left and right, I concluded that nobody's comments outside of the President's and our elected officials, mean a tinker's damn! After all, these opinions blowing up the tv's, radios, blogosphere, etc. are simply "assholes" and everyone has one that's given for one purpose and one purpose only...to eliminate waste. Consequently, why lose sleep over another's personal elimination? I now sleep more soundly after this revelation...
