Good Education is invaluable for a civilized society; whereas, educational degrees can be as worthless as the paper on which they are written.
A quote from the person I most admire in American History, one Booker T. Washington: "Education itself is worthless. It is only as it is used that is of value."
Thus, my education and experience over the many years have shown me that educational degrees in our society are becoming more and more valueless, unless that education allows one to produce a service or product that adds value to mankind's existence. This epiphany didn't occur in my life until I read "The 12-Hour MBA Program" by Milo Sobel. I was then able to complete my thesis and start a successful business. http://infobuck.com/catalog.html
Just as I was able to produce a product and service, I discovered that I could teach others to do the same. http://infobuck.com/contact.html
Based on BTW's premise, I was able to share knowledge with colleague Paulette Davis Horton who has gone on to teach others how to accomplish similar feats. She is currently a touring speaker featuring her latest book about Booker T. Washington, shown below.
October 2, 2010 March in DC ...Just More Begging!!
Unfortunately, civil rights leaders and leaders of the various faiths have learned nothing since the legacy of Booker T. Washington. This march is no more than a "bullshevik" waste of time, similar to the ones in pre-Nazi Germany, lead by unionists and communists...group begging instead of individual responsibility. This is typical of the ignorance shown in civil rights movements and churches as well, especially black churches.
The blame falls on the black jackleg con artists, excuse me, preachers, pastors, ministers, or any other cloak you want to use in failing their communities for at least four generations of "sheep" in those communities. They have shown themselves to be no more intelligent than the bricks that Booker T. Washington used to manufacture in Tuskegee to build not only schools but a small city. Black America, you could have done the same over the many years with the financial sources that you were able to access. So, who's really at fault at being on the "sheep" end of this economic stick??
From the "Conspiracy"...and why you should read "Death in 60 Days"
"The NAACP was not a Black organization. It was founded by principals, Henry Moskowitz, John Millholland, Oswald Villard, Mary Ovington and others, all Jewish socialists. Their purpose was also to promote interracial dating and marriage, and to discourage Blacks from owning land. They hired DuBois as a field representative. One of their aims was to overthrow the persuasive power of Booker T. Washington's leadership and dissolve Tuskegee Institute. THEY WERE SUCCESSFUL!!!
Dr. Washington was poisoned in 1915 in New Haven, hospitalized at Rockefeller Institute Hospital and St. Luke's Hospital in New York City, transported to his home in Tuskegee on November 15, 1915 where he died. All of this happened within 60 days. Today, Tuskegee Institute is a mere shadow of the Institute that Washington founded and built, the hard way."
When a people fail to learn from the past, they will only encounter failure in the future
This march that's to take place in DC on 10-2-10 is symptomatic of this path to continual failure. First, the basis of the march is non-existent, i.e., jobs and salaries to support a family, which are based on an industrial aged economy with virtually no competition by foreign and mostly under educated societies, a smaller domestic population, greater industrial resources, a stronger, unindebted GNP to work with, a virtual lock on the global market with our products, uninhibited exports to those nations with exclusive benefits offered by our products in transportation, textiles, communication, and eventually computerization. Therefore, the very idea for which you are marching to DC...no longer exists.
The great educator, Booker T. Washington, who was vehemently opposed by groups such as the NAACP led by figurehead W.E.B. Dubois, and others such as Monroe Trotter because Mr. Washington would not be more outspoken on social issues, saw that the future of this nation including that of its newly freed slaves was in the economic principle, not socializing (integrating) just for the sake of social acceptance, and thus cited "Cast down your bucket where you are."
Today, that's what America has to do. The solution is not in DC, but in the schools that are failing to educate future generations in being more creative and inventive, churches that are still deceiving with the "pie in the sky after you die notion," and "civil rights' leaders" who are just feathering their beds and those in their immediate circles, by continuing as non-profit beggars' organizations, promoting these boondoggle demonstrations, as the one on 10-2-10.
